+ WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Studio La Muse is located at Magdelstieg 29 in Jena, Germany. Most photography sessions can take place anywhere or "on-location" and The Studio is used as a gathering place for me and my clients to get to know each other, to showcase my art, for viewing appointments and for creative workshops.

I provide storytelling and connection photography services to Jena and the surrounding areas (Weimar, SHK, Erfurt). I am also willing to travel outside of this area for an additional travel fee.

+ WHAT IS YOUR SPECIALTY?

I specialize in storytelling (also known as Documentary) photography as well as connection photography.

My main focus is women (because we're awesome!!) and children (because kids are cute!!). Whether you are journeying into motherhood, making memories with your kids, wanting to connect within yourself, or wanting to connect with your partner, my goal is to photograph you as authentically as possible.

+ WHAT KIND OF SESSIONS DO YOU OFFER?

I offer the following types of sessions:

• Adventurous Hearts Sessions for Women which include the Adventurous Hearts Session, Fine Art Sessions and Boudoir Sessions.
• Connected Hearts Sessions for Couples (including elopements or small weddings with less than 20 guests)
• Stories of Motherhood Sessions for Mothers which includes Birth Stories, Nursing/Nurturing Stories, Moments After Birth Stories and Newborn Story Sessions.
• Stories of Life Sessions for Children and Families which include Stories of Childhood Sessions, Story of Us Sessions {Day-in-the-Life} and small event photography such as for birthday parties.

+ HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?

All sessions should be booked as far in advance as possible. Because Studio La Muse is a full service photography studio (this means every client receives an amazing experience from start to finish. Quality over Quantity) I only take a limited number of sessions per month.

+ WHERE WILL WE SHOOT?

Sessions are typically shot on-location and the location really depends on the type of session you book. Some sessions may take place in your home while others may take place outside in the city center or up in the forest. When you commission a session with Studio La Muse, we will set up pre-session consultation to discuss all of the details such as location, clothing, what to expect, etc.

+ HOW LONG IS THE SESSION?

This also depends on the type of session but typical sessions last any where from 1 to 2 hours. Stories of Life Sessions last from 2 to 8 hours depending on which type of session you choose.

+ DO YOU HELP US PLAN FOR OUR SHOOT?

Oh Yeaaahhh!! At our pre-session consultation we will go over all of the details you need to have for a successful shoot, and you will also get access to the password protected "Client Lounge" which includes further information about your session.

+ WHEN SHOULD WE SCHEDULE OUR NEWBORN SESSION?

Studio La Muse offers two types of newborn sessions.

• Moments After Birth Sessions are within the first 72 hours after birth and can take place while you are still in the clinic or once you get home.
• Newborn Sessions take place about 1-3 months after birth so you can get settled in at home, catch up on some much needed rest after delivery, establish a bond with your new baby and any other family members (siblings, pets, etc) are well acquainted with the new addition too. By this time you are slowly finding your rhythm and your baby is more alert so they will be awake for some of the photos. These sessions take place in and around your home.

+ How much are the sessions fees and what is included?

Session fees start at 125€. This fee schedules your pre-session consultation, reserves your shoot date on my calendar, gets you access to the client lounge, and includes the viewing appointment.

+ Are prints, digital files and products included in the session fee?

No they are not included in the session fee. Prints, digital files and other art products are available to purchase at the viewing appointment.

+ Are Payment plans available?

Yes!! Qualitity photography is an investment, and one that is worth every cent spent. I want you to be able to have photographs of this time in your life, and to be able to share your story for generations. Because of this, the option for payment plans for products you wish to purchase is available and can be discussed in further detail at our appointment.

+ We want to book... now what?

In order to offer a quality experience to all clients, I offer a limited number of sessions each month. If you are interested in booking, please contact me for availability and please keep in mind I typically book 4-8 weeks in advance.

+ what form of payment do you accept?

Studio La Muse accepts cash or bank transfer.
